 Hello. My name is Laura. I am very interested in Vald Tepes but I want to research him on a deeper level than the internet can afford me. Do you know of any primary documents that detail the life of Vlad Tepes? Are there any first hand accounts in an archive somewhere that one can view? I am willing to go to Romania to view such documents if necessary. I attend Columbia University and will try to find something in the libraries there but so far the digital catalogue has not turned up any reference to Vlad. Perhaps the turks have some historical accounting of his reign.
