Hallo Cassowary,

ich habe gesehen, dass Du im Artikel Parlamentswahlen in Australien 2010 einige Ergänzungen eingebracht hast. Ich weiß nicht genau was "party room" bedeutet, ist es dasselbe wie "Fraktion"? - I don't know what "party room" means, is it the same as "faction"? I have seen this article on ABC News but I am still not fully sure what party room means in this context. I guess in German we would say: Mr. Cook ist nicht Mitglied der Fraktion der National Party ?

Ich verstehe den folgenden Satz nicht / I do not understand the following phrase:

Die Liberale Partei hat eine Vereinbarung nicht gehaltet zwischen die Labor und Liberale Parteien für ein Pair des Präsidents, der auch nicht wahlen; mit der Pair soll das Mehrheit 75:73 sein.

Does it mean that the Liberal Party does not want to accept that the Parliament's president is not eligible to vote? What means Pair in this context?
