Ute Reimers-Bruns (* 1963 ) is a German political scientist and politician ( SPD ). She was elected a member of the Bremen Citizenship in May 2019 .

Reimers-Bruns studied after graduating from high school and graduated as a political scientist.

politics

Reimers-Bruns is a member of the SPD in the SPD local association Bremen-Farge-Rekum and was active there in various functions, currently (2019) as chairwoman. She is a member of the SPD state executive. In 2017 she ran unsuccessfully in third place on the list of the SPD for the federal election in constituencies 054 - Bremen. In 2018 she was elected chairwoman of the SPD sub-district Bremen-Nord to succeed Heike Sprehe . She is the spokesperson for the Blumenthal Advisory Board. In 2018, the SPD's mandate commission placed it on 10th place on the SPD list for the 2019 general election.
