Vagamon , also written Wagamon (വാഗമൺ), is an Indian mountain town in the state of Kerala . It is located in the taluks Meenachil and Kanjirapally in the district of Kottayam and Taluk in Peermade in District Idukki .

Vagamon is located 64 km from Palai , is at an altitude of 1100 meters above sea level and is surrounded by tea plantations and meadows.

During the British colonial times , the place was used as a so-called Hill Station . They were followed by Christian missionaries who established themselves in the Kurisumala in Vagamon.

National Geographic Traveler has Vagamon listed on its "50 Most Attractive Places in India" directory.
