Vale de Mendiz

Vale de Mendiz is a place and a former municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Alijó . There were 248 residents in the community (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Vale de Mendiz, Vilarinho de Cotas and Casal de Loivos were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Vale de Mendiz, Casal de Loivos e Vilarinho de Cotas . Vale de Mendiz is the seat of this newly formed municipality.
