Valentin Schnarr

Valentin Schnarr (* around 1865; † around 1925) was a German folk singer and humorist.

Life

The Hessian folk singer and humorist Valentin Schnarr worked in Frankfurt am Main.

He is known to have made six recordings on small 7 "records, which he made shortly after the turn of the century at the Gramophone & Typewriter Co. in Hanover. The recitations include texts by the Frankfurt local poet Friedrich Stoltze and the writer Paul Quilling
