Valorization

Valorisation ( late Latin valor: value ) describes state measures in foreign trade to raise the price of raw materials and world trade goods or to keep them at a certain level. Such a measure took place in South America in the 1960s to influence the cocoa price. Another was the coffee valorization of 1906. The valorization is mainly used for buying and storing for the purpose of market regulation, production restrictions and the destruction of excess quantities.
