Vardanes II.
Vardanes II was a Parthian anti -king who ruled from 55 to around 58.
He was a son of Vologaeses I , against whom he rose up. The event is briefly mentioned in Tacitus . Vardanes II is otherwise only known from his coins, which were minted in Ekbatana and Seleukia on the Tigris , places that he therefore ruled at least temporarily. Nothing more is known about his person and time of reign.
