Association of German Variety Theaters

The Association of German Variety Theaters (VDVT) was founded on September 23, 2003. He continues the work of the "Varieté Conference" founded in 1999.

The purpose of the association is to represent the interests of German variety theaters.

The association has the task of maintaining, consolidating and developing the position of German variety theaters . The aim of his work is to support the venues and companies in fulfilling their tasks, to safeguard their interests and to organize the exchange of experiences with one another. The association is available to the legislative bodies and the administration with advice and expert opinions if required. It strives for close cooperation among the members as well as with related institutions, associations and institutions.

Members

Members are companies that, privately, run an artistic stage program in their theaters all year round at their own risk.

The VDVT is headed by a three-person executive committee, which includes Robert Mangold, Managing Director of the Frankfurt Tigerpalast , as President and Olaf Stegmann, Managing Director of the GOP Entertainment Group, and Wolfgang Jansen , owner of the theater office of the same name, as deputy. Wolfgang Jansen is also the secretary.
