A bandage scissors (also known as Lister scissors known) serves the professional cutting through associations .

These are special scissors , the front part of which is usually angled. This means it can also be pushed under a tight-fitting bandage. The tip of the lower blade is often elongated and laterally flattened to avoid injury when a bandage is cut.
