The Daimler SP 250 was a two-seater roadster that Daimler brought onto the market in 1959. After the company was taken over by Jaguar , it was manufactured until 1964.

He had a V8 OHV engine with 2547 cc, developed by Edward Turner , the chief engineer at Daimler, which developed 140 SAE hp and powered the rear wheels via a four-speed manual or three-speed automatic transmission. The same engine was also used in the Daimler V8 2 ½ liter . The vehicle thus reached a top speed of 198 km / h. The body was made of GRP (glass fiber reinforced polyester). Even in its day, its flat front and large tail fins took some getting used to. The luxury roadster with disc brakes was only built around 2500 times. a. but also used by the British motorway police.
