The Daimler 250 V8 was a four-door sedan from the British automobile manufacturer Daimler , which was built between October 1962 and mid-1969.
Outwardly, it was a variant of the Jaguar Mark 2 , from which the body came. The engine and a few optical details have been changed. The radiator grille and the trunk handle were given the shell-shaped wave shape ("fluted grille") typical of Daimler bodies. In addition, the interior was equipped with higher quality.
The V8 engine with 2548 cm³ / 140 bhp and the automatic power transmission came from the SP 250 sports car . The vehicle reached a top speed of almost 180 km / h. From autumn 1967 the model was called Daimler V8-250 and, like the Jaguar Mark 2, received narrower bumpers. There were 12,999 and 4885 copies respectively.
