Theodor Kruse (born May 24, 1948 in Grevenbrück ) is a German CDU politician. He sat from June 1, 1995 to May 30, 2017 for constituency 128 (Olpe) as a directly elected member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

Kruse is a trained industrial clerk . He left the Siegen University of Applied Sciences , which he attended from 1969 to 1972, as a graduate in business administration . After studying economics and political science at the University of Cologne from 1972 to 1976, he passed the first (1976) and second state exams (1978) for teaching at vocational schools. Since March 1978 he has been a teacher at the vocational schools in the Olpe district .

Kruse is married and has two children.

Political party

Kruse has been a member of the CDU since 1971. From 1973 to 1977 he was chairman of the Junge Union in the Olpe district, from 1989 to 1995 chairman of the CDU city association of Olpe. Since 1995 Kruse has been district chairman of the CDU in the Olpe district. 1984 to 1999 he was a member of the city council of Olpe. In 2015, Kruse opened the CDU's political Ash Wednesday with a speech.

Parliament

Kruse was a member of the state parliament for 22 years until 2017 as a directly elected member of the Olpe constituency. He was spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group in the committee for internal administration. Furthermore, he was a full member of the internal committee, in accordance with Section 23 of the Constitutional Protection Act of North Rhine-Westphalia, in the committee for local politics and administrative structural reform and deputy member in the legal committee. Since October 1999 he has been a member of the parliamentary committee as the internal political spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group.
