The Jaguar XJR-15 was built for racing only in 1991 by a joint venture between Jaguar and Tom Walkinshaw Racing called Jaguar Sport. Originally only 30 pieces were planned. At the customer's request, another 20 street-legal units were built, which were correspondingly expensive: 500,000 pounds. There are only 49 copies of the XJR-15 in total. Like its original version, the Jaguar XJR-15 is based on the racing prototype XJR-9 .
