Trimmings

As trimmings or embellish (Einranden), the ornament of the edge of a garment, especially fur , respectively. The early Low German word Brame meant edge, also forest edge. The design and application of the trimmings depends on the respective fashion, it can include a textile part entirely, or only individual parts are occupied or bordered. Examples are the harem pants or the tappert .

Is derived from veiling as a synonym for Euphemisierung ( "euphemistic statement") is used.
