Ernst Alexander Otto Cornelius Pagenstecher (born December 7, 1697 in Groningen , † August 3, 1753 in Herborn ) was Nassau-Orange Councilor and Rector of the Herborn High School and an important representative of the Pagenstecher family .

Ernst Alexander Otto Cornelius Pagenstecher was the third son of the professor of law and five-time rector of the University of Groningen , Alexander Arnold Pagenstecher (1659-1716) and his wife Katharina Adelheid nee Schlueter.

Ernst Alexander Otto Cornelius Pagenstecher graduated with a doctorate in both rights at the age of 19. In 1721 he became a professor at the Lingen academic high school . In 1725 he was appointed rector to the head of the High School in Herborn. In 1733 he was appointed to the Princely Nassau-Orange Council.
