Giovanni Narcisi

Gianni Narzisi (actually Giovanni Narzisi ; born February 2, 1929 in Palermo ) is an Italian cameraman and film director .

Narzisi worked as a camera assistant in the 1950s for cameramen such as Mario Bava and Massimo Dallamano and from 1962, when he photographed Oggi a Berlino for Piero Vivarelli , was chief cameraman a. a. in Bernardo Bertolucci's La commare secca , in which his black and white photography was praised. In 1966 he staged a mediocre spaghetti western ; ten years later his last contribution to the film industry, the episodic comedy Maschio latino… cercasi .
