Massimo Dallamano

Massimo Dallamano (born April 17, 1917 in Milan ; † November 4, 1976 in Rome ) was an Italian cameraman and director who shot, among other things , The Secret of the Green Pin from 1972, which was advertised as an Edgar Wallace film .

Life

Dallamano attended the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia from 1940 to 1942 and then initially worked as a cameraman for short and documentary films . In 1945 he turned to the cinema and photographed numerous adventure and historical films and spaghetti westerns -Klassiker A Fistful of Dollars (1964) and For a Few Dollars More (1965). In 1967 he switched to directing the western Bandidos . There he made films with excellent craftsmanship, telling their stories in popular genres. Dallamano, who often appeared on the staff as Max Dillman , died in a car accident.
