The first issue appeared on October 22, 2008. The monthly magazine tested games for the PS3, PSP and PSVita, brought previews of upcoming games, as well as the latest news on the console. In addition, interviews and developer portraits as well as reports from the PS3 clan scene and reader opinions in the form of reader votes, letters and interactive charts were published. The magazine was published by Airmotion Games Verlags GmbH, which also published the magazine 360 Live , a magazine with the topic of Xbox 360 . PS3M was mostly published on the last Wednesday of the month and consisted of 84 pages. The magazine was available in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
Airmotion Games Verlags GmbH ceased operations in 2014. Due to falling circulation numbers, the last issue of PS3M appeared in December 2013.
