State high school hot

The state high school was an official in the Duchy of Nassau .

In every office in the Duchy of Nassau a state high school was installed. He was the bailiff downstream. His task was that of voluntary jurisdiction in the respective office. This included, for example, inheritance matters and notarizations. He was an arbitrator and responsible for orphan care. He drafted purchase and exchange contracts for real estate, was responsible for mortgage lending and ran public auctions. The legal basis for the office was § 9 of the ducal edict of June 4, 1816. In the Nassau states before the founding of the Duchy of Nassau the institution of the state upper school existed.
