The Guyer Rock is a low cliff in Marguerite Bay off the Fallières coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is 16 miles west of Flyspot Rocks .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1986 after Lieutenant Simon Thomas Glade Guyer (* 1964) of the Royal Navy , officer on board the HMS Endurance , who ran aground on these rocks during an Antarctic voyage between 1985 and 1986.
