Association of German Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons

The Association of German Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (VDÄPC) with 120 members is the largest specialist society for aesthetic surgeons in Germany . The company is based in Berlin .

Admission criteria

In order to be admitted to the VDÄPC, doctors must have completed training as a specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery . Furthermore, at least three members of the VDÄPC must be in favor of membership and a membership of the DGPRÄC must exist. If these requirements are met, the doctor is a full member of society. Doctors who are still in specialist training and who are seeking membership or who do not meet the requirements are associated members. Members of the VDÄPC are obliged to continuously train themselves in order to keep their technical knowledge and practical skills at a consistently high level.

The VDÄPC defines quality standards in plastic and aesthetic surgery and ensures compliance with them. In addition, the association promotes plastic and aesthetic surgery in Germany from a scientific and practical point of view. Patients have the opportunity to obtain information about specialists and treatment options from the VDÄPC.
