Club coin

Association coin is the name for a nominal that is minted according to the agreements of a mint association .

The club coin is mutually recognized by the members of the coin club. The agreement of the new club coin is usually accompanied by a disrepute of the previous club coins.

Important German minting associations of the Middle Ages are the Wendische Münzverein and the Rheinische Münzverein .
