Vereniging Martijn

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Vereniging MARTIJN was a Dutch organization that campaigned for the acceptance and legalization of pedophile acts by adults on children. From 1986 to 2006 the association published OK Magazine on a quarterly basis . The abbreviation OK stands for "Oudere-Kind" (older child).

Chairman Ad van den Berg , who was convicted of child abuse back in 1987, was arrested in 2011 for possession of child pornography . and later sentenced to three years in prison.

The decision of a Dutch court of June 27, 2012 to prohibit the association was overturned in the second instance and is legally valid again after the highest instance judgment. On April 18, 2014, the Supreme Court of the Netherlands upheld the dissolution order.

In 2014, the association filed a complaint against the ban at the European Court of Human Rights . This was discarded in 2015.
