Constitutional Court of the Republic of Bulgaria

The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Bulgaria ( Bulgarian Конституционен съд на България ) is the highest court in Bulgaria with its seat in Sofia .

The court consists of twelve judges who are elected for nine years each. One third of the judges are appointed by the Bulgarian Parliament and another third are appointed by the Bulgarian President. The last third is elected by the judges of the subordinate higher courts. The competences of the Bulgarian Constitutional Court result from the Bulgarian Constitution. The court is located on Dondukov Boulevard in Sofia.
