Cautious Abort (engl. Missed abortion ) means (up to many months) remain an already dead fetus in the uterus (retention in utero). It may be asymptomatic; occasional light bleeding or brownish discharge may occur occasionally. Often, such a miscarriage is only detected during routine ultrasound examinations as a too small fruit plant without any signs of vitality. If the dead fetus remains in the uterus for more than 5 weeks, the pregnant woman can experience severe coagulation disorders due to the inundation of thromboplastic material ( dead fetus syndrome ).
