Vern Blosum
Vern Blosum is the fictional name of an American Pop Art artist of unknown identity.
Between 1961 and 1964, around 45 paintings by an unknown artist in the style of Pop Art appeared under the name Vern Blosum, some of which were offered in the Leo Castelli gallery . The Museum of Modern Art bought a painting entitled "Time Expired". After the artist's identity remained unclear, the pictures were no longer shown there.
The Kunsthalle Bern showed an exhibition of these works from June to August 2014.
