Annihilation pain

Severe, acute pain is referred to as annihilation pain , which can cause the affected person to feel absolutely helpless or even convey the feeling of fear of death . This can e.g. B. in a tearing abdominal aortic aneurysm (BAA), in myocardial infarction , in pulmonary embolism , but also in terminal cancer .
