Veronika, spring is here

The foxtrot Veronika, der Lenz ist da is a popular song of the 1920s, the melody of which was composed by Walter Jurmann . The text is by Fritz Rotter .

It was first published as a sheet music edition by Boheme-Verlag in Vienna. Hofmeister's musically literary monthly report recorded an edition for voice and piano, one for salon orchestra and an arrangement by Walter Borchert for orchestra under the name of the composer .

It has been covered countless times. Probably the best-known version comes from the German sextet Comedian Harmonists from 1930.
