The ordinance on general conditions for the supply of district heating (AVBFernwärmeV for short) is an ordinance issued by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology . It regulates supply conditions in 37 paragraphs as part of the supply contract between the district heating supplier and the consumers.

The regulations affect the entire contractual relationship from conclusion, establishment to termination. Thereby u. a. detailed regulations on the conclusion of the contract ( § 2 ), liability ( § 5 ), technical connection conditions ( § 17 ), billing ( § 24 ) up to the suspension of supply and termination without notice ( § 33 ).

The Unification Treaty contains special regulations for the accession area .
