Reference

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A reference is a list of legal norms in which each norm is indicated at which point it was officially promulgated. Changes to the standards are usually also recorded with the information for their promulgation.

In addition to the designation of the reference to the references, “list of validity” or “continuation record” are common titles for such publications .

Germany

For German federal law , the Federal Ministry of Justice publishes two references annually on December 31st. The reference list A (FNA) lists the national federal law (light blue supplement to the Federal Law Gazette Part I, no longer available in printed form since 2012), while the reference list B (FNB) lists the international legal agreements as well as the contracts for the preparation and establishment of the unification of Germany (Red supplement to BGBl. Part II). Both references can be found on the homepage of the Federal Law Gazette, each year.

  • Reference list A 2017 Federal law without international agreements. Completed December 31, 2017
  • List of references B 2017 International agreements. Treaties for the preparation and establishment of the unity of Germany. Completed December 31, 2017.

There are similar directories in many German countries . The federal states are mostly based on the FNA in their structure, but have partially adapted the division of the subject areas to their needs. In contrast to the federal government, many states also include administrative regulations or issue their own registers.

Some of these directories can be viewed on the Internet (see web links).
