Supply pressure

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Supply pressure is the designation for the prevailing water pressure in the drinking water pipes. In the case of drinking water pipes in the local network, the supply pressure is between 2 and 8 bar , since the house installation systems are only designed for an operating pressure of a maximum of 10 bar. In distribution networks without house connections, pressures above 10 bar can also be present. The pressure must then be reduced again with a pressure reducer before it is released to households .
