Supply contract

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the German law of statutory health insurance or social long-term care insurance, a public-law contract between the public-law health insurance funds or long-term care insurance funds and the provider of a public or private institution is referred to as a supply contract . On the basis of the supply contract, the facility may participate in the medical or nursing care of the insured (see for example § 109 SGB V , § 111 SGB V, § 72 SGB XI ). The supply contract regulates the conditions under which the benefits are provided to the insured. The hospital is not entitled to conclude a supply contract.
