Expelled soldiers (Polish: Żołnierze wyklęci ) are the Polish resistance fighters of the anti-communist underground organizations who fought against the pro- Soviet communist regime in the People's Republic of Poland from 1944 to 1963 .

The last " exiled soldier" -  Józef Franczak  - was killed on October 21, 1963 near Piaski .

Since 2011, the National Day of Remembrance of the Exiled Soldiers ( Narodowy Dzień Pamięci "Żołnierzy Wyklętych" ) has been celebrated in Poland on March 1st .
