The Treaty of Eltham , also known as the Treaty of Bourges , was an agreement between the English King Henry IV and the French dukes Johann von Berry and Charles von Orléans . It was signed on May 8, 1412 in Eltham near London and Bourges .

In this treaty, Henry IV assured his support against the Bourguignons , and was supposed to get the Duchy of Aquitaine back.

In the autumn of 1412, the Duke of Clarence , the second son of Henry IV, landed with an army in the Cotentin and thus resumed acts of war on the mainland.
