The VfB Neckarrems 1913 eV is a sports club from the Neckarrems part of the Swabian Remseck am Neckar .

history

The Neckarrems 1913 Movement Games Association was founded in 1913 and currently has nine departments, of which football was the most successful division.

The Neckarrems footballers received their first national attention when they were promoted to the Württemberg League . After finishing second, the newcomer qualified straight away for the promotion to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg in the first season . After just one season, VfB Neckarrems was relegated back to the Württemberg Association League in 2011.

The football department spun off into its own club in 2010, the VfB Neckarrems - football in Remseck am Neckar.

The highlight of the club's history was the ceremony for the 100th anniversary on February 2, 2013.

From the end of April 2013 to the end of October 2016, VfB Neckarrems was in insolvency proceedings in 1913. The association was saved by an insolvency plan and has been able to act again since 2016.

The association offers sports-oriented activities and cultural experiences for young and old. He cooperates with educational institutions and other clubs, in particular with FC Remseck-Pattonville.

Youth football

In 2008, VfB Neckarrems, together with three other clubs from the Remseck community , to which Neckarrems also belongs, TSV Neckargröningen , SKV Hochberg and SGV Hochdorf, founded the JSG Remseck 08 (youth game community) with the aim of being able to tackle youth football in Remseck more specifically. The club has been called FC Remseck-Pattonville since 2015.
