Via Engiadina

The Via Engiadina ( [viɐ̯ ɛnˈdʑadinɐ] ? / I , Rhaeto-Romanic for Engadinerweg , also known as Engadiner Höhenweg ) is a hiking trail that crosses the entire length of the Engadin , partly through alpine terrain and partly along the valley floor along the Inn . Audio file / audio sample

The trail is maintained by the Bündner Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Wanderwege (BAW) and is designed so that it can be completed on ten day tours.

The starting and end points are Vinadi in the Lower Engadin and Maloja in the Upper Engadin .
