Vicars Close
Coordinates: 51 ° 13 ′ N , 2 ° 39 ′ W Vicars Close is the UK's oldest terraced housing estate .
Located in Wells , County Somerset, the settlement was completed about 1363 for choir members of the cathedral choir. Since then, as one of the oldest building ensembles, it has been continuously inhabited, mostly still today by choir members or employees of the cathedral and their families.
