Vinkovačke jeseni
Vinkovačke jeseni [ ʋiŋkɔʋatʃkɛ jɛsɛni ] ( Eng . Winkowitzer Herbst ) is a traditional folklore event in Vinkovci , Croatia , which takes place annually in September.
The Vinkovačke jeseni festival was founded in 1966 , and soon it went from a fairly small event to one of the largest and most famous folklore events in the city of Vinkovci and all of Slavonia .

The first Vinkovačke jeseni took place in September 1966. The first plan of the folklore event is the maintenance of folk dances, folk costumes and customs, so that the various traditional values from the folk life of Slavonia are preserved.
General
Vinkovačke jeseni take place every September. The stage is provisionally built for the duration of the festival and is designed as an open-air stage. The costumes and the scenography are themed, and this is where the beauty of the splendor of shapes and colors of the traditional costumes and the sounds of the tambourizzas and bagpipes come to the fore.
