Viscount Buckmaster , of Cheddington in the County of Buckingham , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award

The title was created on February 24, 1933 for the lawyer and politician Stanley Owen Buckmaster, 1st Baron Buckmaster .

Subordinate title

The 1st Viscount had already been raised on June 14, 1915, on the occasion of his appointment as Lord Chancellor , Baron Buckmaster , of Cheddington in the County of Buckingham (Peerage of the United Kingdom). The title has been listed as a subordinate title since 1933.

Title heir ( Heir Apparent ) is the eldest son of the current title holder, Andrew Nicholas Buckmaster (* 1980).
