Viscount Hall
Viscount Hall , of Cynon Valley in the County of Glamorgan , was a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award and history of the title
The title was bestowed on Labor politician George Hall on October 28, 1946 , on the occasion of his appointment as First Lord of the Admiralty .
The title expired on the death of his son William Hall, 2nd Viscount Hall on July 24, 1985.
