MLB All-Star Game

The MLB All-Star Game 2016 was the 87th edition of the Major League Baseball All-Star Game between the selection teams of the American League (AL) and the National League (NL). It took place on July 12, 2016 at PETCO Park , the stadium of the San Diego Padres in San Diego . The American League beat the National League 4-2 runs and thus secured home rights in the 2016 World Series .

Player choice

From April 24, 2016, fans could vote online for the participants in both leagues in the All-Star Game. The vote ran until June 30, 2016 and everyone was entitled to vote 35 times, but a maximum of five times within 24 hours. The players who get the most votes in their respective position are on the starting grid for their respective league.
