The MLB All-Star Game 2011 was the 82nd edition of the Major League Baseball All-Star Game between the selection teams of the American League (AL) and the National League (NL). It took place on July 12, 2011 at Chase Field in Phoenix , Arizona .
With the victory of the NL team, this year's winner of the National League has the home advantage at the 2011 World Series at the final of the 2011 MLB season . The National League was able to achieve its second victory in a row after having had to wait 14 years for success.
