MLB All-Star Game

The 2017 MLB All-Star Game was the 88th edition of the Major League Baseball All-Star Game between the selection teams of the American League (AL) and the National League (NL). It took place on July 11, 2017 at Marlins Park in Miami , Florida .

For the first time since 2002, when the game ended in a tie, the All Star Game will not determine home game advantage for the World Series. Instead, the home game advantage is given to the team with the better regular season record.

Last roster place

After the roster has been announced, a second vote will take place in order to allocate the last remaining place in the roster. Mike Moustakas was nominated by the Kansas City Royals for the American League and Justin Turner by the Los Angeles Dodgers for the National League .
