The Experimenterende Danske Radioamatører (short: EDR , German  "Experimental Danish radio amateurs" ) is the national association of radio amateurs in Denmark .

The association was founded in 1927 with the purpose of promoting the practice of amateur radio and the associated research into high-frequency technology . The in-house magazine of the EDR is OZ after the homonymous country connoisseurs of the International Telecommunication Union for Denmark. It is dedicated to various member activities , such as contests , campaigns such as SOTA and "DXpeditions", as well as the typical topics of amateur radio , such as transmission and reception technology, test reports and assembly instructions for antennas.

The EDR is a member of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU Region 1), the international association of amateur radio associations, and represents the interests of Danish radio amateurs there.
