The Föreningen Sveriges Sändareamatörer (short: SSA , German  "Association of Swedish broadcasting amateurs" ) is the national association of radio amateurs in Sweden .

The association was founded in 1925 with the aim of promoting the practice of amateur radio and the associated research into high-frequency technology . The SSA's in-house magazine is called QTC . The title corresponds to the Q code for "I have ... messages for you." It appears monthly and is dedicated to the various member activities such as contests , campaigns such as SOTA and "DXpeditions", as well as the typical topics of amateur radio , such as broadcasting and reception technology, test reports and assembly instructions for antennas.

The SSA is a member of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU Region 1), the international association of amateur radio associations, and represents the interests of Swedish radio amateurs there.

On the occasion of the 40th birthday of the Swedish Crown Princess Victoria , the SSA issued the special call sign SC4ØVIC.
