The Radio Amateurs of Canada (short: RAC , French Radio Amateurs du Canada , German " Radio Amateurs Canada" ) is the national association of radio amateurs in Canada , based in Ottawa .
The RAC's in-house magazine is The Canadian Amateur Magazine (TCA) ( German "Das Kanadische Amateurmagazin" ). It is dedicated to the various member activities such as contests , campaigns such as SOTA and "DXpeditions", as well as the typical topics of amateur radio , such as transmission and reception technology, test reports and assembly instructions for antennas.
The RAC is a member of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU Region 2), the international association of amateur radio associations, and represents the interests of Canadian radio amateurs there.
