The Union Royale Belge des Amateurs-Emetteurs ( . French ), Koninklijke Unie van de Belgische Zendamateurs ( . NDL ) or Royal Union of Belgian radio amateurs ( dt. ) (Abbreviated UBA ) is the national association of amateur radio operators in Belgium .

The union was founded in 1947 through the merger of the Walloon and Flemish associations. The purpose of the UBA is to promote the practice of amateur radio and the associated research into high-frequency technology . The member activities include contests , campaigns such as SOTA and "DXpeditions", as well as transmission and reception technology, test reports and building instructions for antennas.

The UBA is a member of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU Region 1), the international association of amateur radio associations, and represents the interests of Belgian radio amateurs there.
