The Austrian Test Transmitter Association ( ÖVSV ) is a non-profit making association for the purpose of promoting and maintaining amateur radio . The association founded by Franz Anderle in 1926 extends its activities to the entire federal territory of the Republic of Austria.

The association is the Austrian member of the International Amateur Radio Union IARU (Region 1).

It is divided into an umbrella organization (DV), nine regional associations (LV) and the AMRS (Amateur Radio Association of the Federal Army / Austrian Military Radio Society).

The regional associations with the Austrian prefixes:

  • OE1 (Vienna)
  • OE2 (Salzburg)
  • OE3 (Lower Austria)
  • OE4 (Burgenland)
  • OE5 (Upper Austria)
  • OE6 (Styria)
  • OE7 (Tyrol)
  • OE8 (Carinthia)
  • OE9 (Vorarlberg)

The monthly published club newspaper is called QSP and contains important information about club activities in the umbrella organization, as well as in the regional associations. The magazine also contains the results of amateur radio competitions that have been held .

In 2015 the association had 3,184 members.
