The Associazione Radioamatori Italiani (short: ARI , German  "Italian Radio Amateurs Association" ) is the national association of radio amateurs in Italy with its seat in Milan .

The association was founded in 1927 under the name Associazione Radiotecnica Italiana ( German  "Italian radio technical association" ) with the same abbreviation. The in-house magazine of the ARI is the RadioRivista (RR) ( German  "Funkmagazin" ). It is dedicated to various member activities , such as contests , campaigns such as SOTA and "DXpeditions", as well as the typical topics of amateur radio , such as transmission and reception technology, test reports and assembly instructions for antennas.

The ARI is a member of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU Region 1), the international association of amateur radio associations, and represents the interests of Italian radio amateurs there.

The famous Italian radio pioneer and high-frequency technician Guglielmo Marconi (1874–1937), who achieved the first transatlantic transmission in 1903, was the first honorary president of the ARI.
